Teams must design and launch a rocket that delivers a raw egg to a precise altitude and flight duration—without cracking it. Rockets must reach 820 feet during qualifications and hit 800 or 850 feet at the Finals, with the target chosen by coin toss. Each flight must stay in the air for 43–46 seconds to earn a perfect duration score.

The rocket must use two different body tube diameters, weigh under 650g, fly on approved motors, and return safely by parachute with all components tethered together.
