NASA Student Launch is a nine-month engineering challenge that brings together student teams to design, build, test, and launch high-powered rockets carrying payloads to perform a series of assigned tasks. Throughout the program, teams apply real engineering and research skills as they develop and test their rocket systems. The challenge concludes with a final launch in Huntsville, Alabama, home of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Student Launch includes teams from colleges and universities as well as qualifying middle and high schools across the country.
