STEM Engagement

This weekend, the Stony Brook School Rocketry Team hosted a STEM outreach event at the Emma S. Clark Library, bringing the excitement of aerospace engineering to the community. Attendees, especially young learners, joined us in building small model rockets, exploring the principles of rocketry through hands-on creativity. Guided by our team members, participants assembled and decorated their rockets before launching them outdoors, sparking enthusiasm for science and engineering. The event was a celebration of collaboration and innovation, inspiring the next generation of rocketeers.
